Vintage Peyote Bird Earrings

Vintage Zuni earrings that have been modified from a screw back.

The earring is suspended from a stamped button on a wire.

There is a small Zuni piece set with snake eye turquoise and a round

disk featuring a peyote bird.   The disk has inlay using MOP, turquoise, coral and jet.

Earring length is 2 5/8".

Weight is 10.4 grams.

The peyote bird earring is very old.  Circa 1940.
