Cerrillos Turquoise Heishi Pendant Necklace
Cerrillos Turquoise Heishi Pendant Necklace

Stunning older necklace featuring hand rolled natural heishi from the Cerrillos mine in New Mexico. The necklace also features four Zuni style pendant accents that flank the main pendant. The central former brooch pendant is beautifully made with raised silver crescents, raindrops, twisted wire and stamped silver drops. The floral cluster is surrounded by tear drop turquoise stones. The center floral cluster refers back to the Zuni style smaller pendant accents. The larger heishi beads towards center of the necklace show some cracks from wear and age.
The necklace has been strung on flexible bead wire. This is not unusual as cotton will rot with age. The hook has been pinched closed for security and the necklace is long enough to slip over your head.
Necklace length is 27" not including the pendant.
The pendant measures 1 3/4".
Weight is 50 grams.
